A two-sided marketplace app connecting licensed beauticians with clients for in-home, assisted-living, hotel, office, and event beauty services. Comparative Imaging, Inc. (operating as Site-Spark-Ignite) designed and built the client and beautician-facing iOS apps and the backend platform, and operates the service.
The app sends SMS messages for two purposes: one-time passcodes for account login and signup verification, and appointment confirmation and reminder texts to clients and beauty professionals. Users opt in by creating an account with their phone number; message volume is a few texts per booking.
Stack: native SwiftUI iOS apps, a Node/TypeScript backend, Stripe Connect for payments, and Twilio for SMS delivery.
